The book may be a few months behind because well, people don’t care about Charlie as much as they used to, but it still promises to be a good read. And by good read I mean, whatever she was legally allowed to say about him.
If you were hoping for a 200+ page bash fest, think again. She wants her fans to know that they enjoyed "a beautiful love story"… before the romance turned sour that is. Bad romance indeed.
She insists the book will not be a purely negative commentary on her marriage to Charlie, because she wants to share the good times they experienced together, too. Aka: She wants to keep the $20K a month checks coming.
She tells OK! magazine, "(It is) about how it is a struggle and we had one of the worst divorces so if we get into a good place, that's great... People have only gotten the rotten stuff so you know, there was a beautiful love story between he and I and I know that it went the way it went, but I talk more about how I felt during that time because I feel like a lot of women can relate to that, going through a divorce and custody and being a single parent and trying to work and all of that stuff."
Okay maybe I’m being too critical. There’s something great about the fact that she’s not willing to bash the father of her children in the press…anymore. But will you even bother buying the book now? Tell us your thoughts!
The book will be released nationwide on July 26th.
