Denise Richards: Charlie Has Been

Denise Richards recently adopted a baby girl and says Charlie Sheen is very supportive of the new addition to her family. Richards and Sheen divorced in 2006 and have two daughters together, Lola, six and seven-year-old Sam.

Despite their own drama, Richards “is grateful for the backing she received” from Charlie Sheen. Backing? Does that mean financial backing or pat-on-the-back emotional backing?

Regardless, after Sheen saw Richards new daughter and first confused her for a troll and then tried to feed her tigers blood, Richards said he loved baby Eloise Joni. “We talk every day. He’s met her. He knows how much I love kids, so he was very supportive.”

As cute as baby Eloise and new mom seem, it wasn’t a walk in the park, “Some people think if a celebrity wants a baby, they get one the next day,” says Richards. Really? Because I thought that the adoption process was completely based on how many times you’ve appeared on TMZ.

“The adoption took two years, and there were times I felt discouraged, times when I got close to adopting a baby and it fell through. But I knew the right baby would find us,” reveals Richards.

However, everything ended up as it was supposed to, “She’s [Eloise] brought so much joy and I love her to pieces. She loves being hugged and held. She’s such a beautiful little baby and little soul.”
