Jenny McCarthy has spoken out against
Denis Leary
and the
comments he has made against autism.
Earlier this week, Leary angered autism activists by making a statement in his new book, saying the parents are just using the disorder to explain their academic “laziness.”
“Whoo! First of all, let me tell you, the autism community has received probably 10,000 emails [saying] ‘Go kill him!’ ‘Go yell at him,’” McCarthy told Access Hollywood.
“
[But] it’s so hard to even get up enough juice in me or energy in me to even try to fight someone that is obviously stupid,” she added.
Leary also released a statement defending his comments against autism saying that his comments were misunderstood. He should have just kept his mouth shut. Don't these celebrities ever learn?
