If Demi Moore’s friends are planning to have a Red Bull/K2 Spice intervention, it might be a tough one.
Despite being hospitalized for drug induced convulsions, Moore is reportedly in denial that she has any real problem and is ignoring the people around her who think she does.
“Demi doesn’t think she has a problem,” a source told RadarOnline. The source added: “She is basically ignoring everything everyone around her is saying about how she needs help.”
“Everyone thought she was going to die,” another source said of Demi’s seizure.
Yesterday reports surfaced that Demi’s friends have been urging her to go to rehab, but the actress is fighting it. Her daughter, Rumer, has been seen out at a party since the incident, and Tallulah, Rumer’s 17 year-old younger sister, made headlines after her mom's hospitalization as well. The underage teen has been seen smoking cigarettes amid Demi’s mini-meltdown. Someone needs an anti-drug.
And another rumor has been floating around that Demi recently sought out 24 year-old High School Musical star Zac Efron. Us Magazine reports that Moore “tracked down” Efron, who is a friend of Rumer’s, at a party in Benice.
“She seemed out of her mind at this party,” the source told the magazine. "She's been really down, and she's surrounding herself with young people to make her feel better," another insider said.
Moore’s rep says that rumor has no truth to it, and would not comment on Demi’s plans for recovery. Her rep only said that Demi "has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health."
