Despite the original statement released from Demi Moore’s rep, the caller did not say, “Send an ambulance! We have a lady here who’s reeaaaal tired. I mean, exhausted. Really, she’s sleepy as hell. Might need backup.”
I’ve just spent the last ten minutes of my life listening to the Demi Moore 911 Emergency Call, and now I’m bringing you the highlights. You’re welcome.
“She smoked something,” the caller said. “It’s not marijuana but it’s similar to incense."
Was it a Glade Plug-In?
"And she seems to be having convulsions of some sort," the caller reveals.
The dispatcher then asks, “How old is she?” and Demi’s friend replies: “She is—how old is Demi?...49.”
They describe her state as “semi-conscious, barely.”
The dispatcher asks, “she overdosed on…”
And either the references have been taken out, or the caller just doesn’t respond.
“Some form of a (inaudible). She smoked something, I didn’t really see. She’s been having some issues lately with some other stuff, and I don’t know what she’s been taking.”
When asked if it was “accidental or intentional,” the caller responds:
“She smoked something but the reaction was accidental.”
They add that Demi was “shaking, convulsing” and “burning up.”
“I don’t know,” the caller continued. “There’s been some stuff recently that we’re all just finding out.”
Demi was rushed to the hospital on Monday night after passing out from reportedly doing whippets at a party she was throwing.
Moore’s rep said that Demi was rushed to the hospital after suffering from “exhaustion” and was planning to seek professional help to “improve her overall health.”
