Demi Lovato Plays Secret Agent In Voto Latino PSA

Here’s a side of Demi Lovato we have yet to see.

Demi is joining forces with Voto Latino to help mobilize American Latinos to register to vote. “The X Factor” judge will appear in a PSA that takes the storyline of classic Hollywood spy movie and adds a serious kick of Latin flavor.

Photos from Voto Latino’s “The Enforcers” PSA shoot reveal Demi looking stone-faced and badass walking (presumably in slow-motion ‘cause it’s just cooler) down a vacant back street.

The 19-year-old singer rocks an open leather jacket, a beaded black top and some high-waisted hot pants. She even manages her grace in a pair of sky high open-toe heels.

Demi plays “Agent 3” in the PSA. Joining her as “Agent One” and “Agent Two” are “That ‘70s Show” star Wilmer Valderrama and Robert Hoffman of “90210.” The agents work to assemble the masses and are called upon by The Boss – aka “La Jefa” – who sees that people are neglecting to register to vote.

Other stars of the campaign include Maria Menounos, Francia Raisa (“The Secret Life of the American Teenager’”) Lea Black (The Real Housewives of Miami”), Columbus Short (“Scandal”), Tony Plana (“Ugly Betty”), Dania Ramirez (“Entourage”), Chavez’s Michael Peña and Jason Jenkins.

Voto Latino is a non-partisan organization dedicated to engaging the youth of America through media, technology, and celebrity voices in order to promote positive change. The movement was launched in 2004.

With the 2012 presidential elections fast approaching, it is the group’s top priority to get unregistered citizens prepped to cast their ballot in November. Among the organization’s issues to address is the increasing unemployment numbers and poverty levels among the Latino community.

“We firmly believe that the quality of our future depends on our ability to mobilize and vote,” a statement on the Voto Latino website reads. “There's never been a more pivotal time for us to flex our collective power and move our country forward.”
