I never thought I would see the day when I would be sticking up for Jennifer Aniston's celebrity. Leave it to a Twilight star to get me there.
Because Breaking Dawn: Part I is happening in less than a month now, its actresses are appearing on magazine covers and saying things that make people cringe.
For Kristen Stewart, that was finally admitting she was dating Robert Pattinson. For Ashley Greene, it's comparing her and Demi Lovato to Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. Ashley appears on the cover of Allure, donning lighter than usual locks. In her spread in the mag, she tosses a drink in the face of a male model. Very artsy stuff.
But let's get to the goods. Greene and Lovato apparently had a feud because she stole a Jonas Brother from Demi. So, here's what Ashley had to say about it:
"I’m really happy that she’s doing well. She and I never had a problem with each other, but you know, it doesn’t go away . . . Jen Aniston still gets asked about Angelina Jolie."
I mean, I know it's true, but it's sort of like a high school dropout saying, "well, Einstein failed math, too."
Anyway, the mag also asked her about landing the role of Alice and not Bella in Twilight. Which is kind of a cruel question, but Ashley kept it classy:
"I think that the casting was so spot-on, especially between Rob and Kristen . . . Dude, I just got lucky on all fronts, because not only am I in Twilight, but the character’s just so damn lovable."
So now that her and Joe Jonas are over, what kind of guys does she look for?
"I go through stages. Randomly, I’ll be attracted to a crazy rocker with tattoos. And I find that I’m extremely attracted to ambition and wit. If it was appropriate to date Michael Sheen, I would, but he and his girlfriend [Rachel McAdams] are so cute."
Okay, maybe she does have a little Angelina in her.
Greene was one of many celebrities who had nude photos of her surface after being hacked. But don't worry, folks. She's taking it in stride. "One of my family members said to me, 'Ashley, everyone does it. You’re just famous.'"
Does everyone really do it? Are we all really that interested to see what we would look like as porn stars on our iPhones?
Greene says she tried to clean up her act after her first few months in Hollywood. "I was out until 2 a.m., and I was gaining weight, it wasn’t anything crazy, but there was a certain point when I realized I wasn’t booking. I was photographed coming out of clubs a lot, and my mum made a comment like, 'Wow, is that really what you want to be known for?'"
