What terrible news we keep hearing about this week! Macaulay Culkin’s 29-year old sister Dakota passed away this morning in Los Angeles.
She reportedly stepped off a curb while walking on the West Side, and was struck by a car. She later died of her injuries at UCLA Medical Center. So sad.
For now, the incident is being ruled an accident. Macaulay Culkin’s rep issued the following statement: “We can officially confirm that the victim is Dakota Culkin. This is a terrible tragic accident. We have no further comment at this time.”
The LAPD is reportedly investigating the situation, and no arrests have been made. So we can only hope for the family’s sake that it was indeed an accident. What horrible news to get, and right before the holidays. Our thoughts are with the entire Culkin family.
