James Brown passed away just a few days ago and there’s already a biopic in the works. That was fast huh? Spike Lee has signed up to direct the movie with Brian Grazer as producer. The movie will be about the life of the late soul legend and Brown actually had assisted with the movies development before his death.
Grazer says, "Like everybody, I was surprised and saddened that James Brown died. Having known him well, and after spending lots of time with him and researching his life, it's somehow not surprising that he died on Christmas Day. He was the ultimate showman, all the way to the end."
