Golden Girl Beatrice Arthur Dies

Golden Girls star Beatrice Arthur died early Saturday morning. She was 86.

According to the Associated Press, Arthur had been suffering with cancer. It is uncertain what kind of cancer the actress had.

Arthur passed away peacefully in her Los Angeles home.

Golden Girls was a popular NBC show which ran from 1985 to 1992.Arthur played the outspoken Dorothy Zbornak.
