We're sad to report that comedian George Carlin died of heart failure at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica about 6 p.m on Sunday. He was 71.
Carlin, who had a long history of heart problems and drug dependency, was admitted earlier Sunday afternoon for chest pains, spokesman Jeff Abraham told Reuters.
