Actor Edward Woodward Dies

'Equalizer' actor Edward Woodward passed away at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro on Monday at the age of 79 after suffering from various illnesses, including pneumonia, for several months.

Nicholas Cage's Father Dies of Heart Attack

Sad news to report in Hollywood today. Nicolas Cage’s father August Coppola has died of a heart attack at age 75.

Cage’s rep Annett Wolf released the news, saying that he passed on Tuesday.

Coppola was a literature professor and served as dean of creative arts at San Francisco State University. Besides Cage, Coppola is survived by sons Christopher and Marc, and three grandchildren.

Bruce Springsteen's Cousin Found Dead in Hotel Room

Bruce Springsteen was forced to cancel his concert in Kansas City last night after learning his cousin was found dead in a hotel room.

Lenny Sullivan, 36, was also Bruce’s assistant road manager for the E Street Band for the last ten years.

A statement on Bruce’s website reads: "A warm and sensitive person, he was beloved by Bruce, the Band, the crew, and the entire Thrill Hill family."

DJ AM's Death Ruled Accidental

The New York City Medical Examiner has just determined the cause of DJ AM’s death.

According to TMZ, the cause of death has been ruled acute intoxication” due to the combined effects of cocaine, oxycodone, hydrocodone (Vicodin), Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and Levamisole (a drug used to cut cocaine with).

This cause of death is categorized as accidental by means of substance abuse.

Patrick Swayze Dies at 57

Tragedy has struck Hollywood. Patrick Swayze has died after a nearly two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57. Swayze's publicist Annett Wolf says the 57-year-old Dirty Dancing actor died Monday with family at his side.

"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months," said a statement released Monday evening by his publicist. No other details were given.

A memorial has been set for this Thursday to honor the life of Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein. According to MTV, the memorial will take place at the Palladium in Hollywood, a venue Adam had DJ’d many times during his life.
