David Hasselhoff just can’t seem to stay away from the booze! He was reportedly rushed into a rehab unit in London after he’d been drinking for days at his hotel.
According to The Sun, the Hoff’s assistant called for a doctor, fearing his boss was becoming out of control. The hotel staff at St. Martins Lane Hotel manhandled Hasselhoff, bringing him down to the basement of the hotel.
David must have been a little ticked off at the unwanted attention on himself, and “accidentally” punched the doctor in the forehead.
A source close to the actor said, "David is very hard to handle when he drinks, often very emotional and aggressive. On this occasion he became so drunk he wet his hotel bed - ruining two mattresses - and was becoming a real pain for staff. His assistant Joe Townley was so concerned he called out a doctor. David was furious and lashed out at him - but mistakenly hit the doctor. They decided they had no option but to lock him in the basement until an ambulance arrived."
Hasselhoff was taken to London's £1,000-a-night Capio Nightingale Hospital, where he spent two nights in a private suite before being discharged yesterday.
One fellow patient said: "He was recognized immediately. Everyone was thrilled The Hoff had arrived and wanted to meet him. But the nurses were anxious to make sure he had a quiet time to recover and were telling him he needed vitamins and iron to build himself up."
This is the fifth time (that we’re aware of) that David Hasselhoff has been taken to the hospital for alcohol-related issues. Maybe it’s time to wake up and smell the addiction!!!
