Recovering alcoholic
David Hasselhoff had to be hospitalized this past weekend after suffering from alcohol poisoning.
The Hoff's daughter Hayley found him unconscious on the floor of their Encino home. She called her mother, who lives 10 minutes away, and they rushed him to Cedars-Sinai medical center.
When he was admitted he was registered with a .39 alcohol level. According to Radaronline, the Hoff was "barely breathing when they got him to the hospital," but he is reportedly recovering now.
"This is about the seventh time he’s been taken to a hospital over the last few years with alcohol poisoning," the source said.
It's no secret that Hoff has a long battle with alcoholism. Back in 2007 a video shot by his daughter showed Hoff drunk and lying on the floor, eating a hamburger. He was barely coherent during the video and all you heard was his daughter begging him to stop and get some help.
