David Hasselhoff wants people to know that he was not admitted to the hospital last night for being a booze bag! Rather, the America’s Got Talent judge claims his trip to the ER was for an ear infection.
Earlier this morning,
Hollyscoop reported that the Hoff’s daughter had called her mother to inform her that he was three sheets to the wind, and 911 was shortly dialed thereafter.
But Hasselhoff’s rep tells
TMZ it’s all just a big misunderstanding and that he was being treated by his family doctor for an ear infection and was taking Antivert.
Hasselhoff was also taking Antabuse, which prevents alcoholics from drinking. The His rep says the combination of drugs messed up his equilibrium, and he wasn't able to reach his family doctor.
When the paramedics came to the scene, David volunteered himself to go to the hospital so he could have his ear looked at. He was reportedly released an hour after being treated at the hospital.
