David Carradine

Carradine’s family hired Dr. Michael Baden of the HBO show Autopsy to conduct a second one after David’s body was delivered back to the U.S.
Baden told the media, “The cause of death was asphyxiation, an inability to breathe, now why that happened is still what we’re working on.”
“He didn’t die of natural causes, and he didn’t die of suicidal causes from the nature of the ligatures around the body, so that leaves some kind of accidental death.”
Baden also hasn’t ruled out possible autoerotic asphyxiation, because of how the actor’s body was found in a closet with his hands tied and a rope around his neck.
Carradine’s brothers had no comment on the results of the second autopsy. We fell so sorry for the family. They lost David and still have so many unanswered questions.

He tells Globe magazine, "David Carradine was murdered... I strongly believe Lady Boys are responsible. Lady Boys operate in pairs. David would not have stood a chance. They can be very brutal.”
"I want to see those tapes. My suspicion is they've already been doctored.”
Pretty unbelievable claims! In addition, a retired FBI agent is working with the Globe to try and uncover more information. His name is Ted Gunderson, and he agrees with Winters’ claims.
Gunderson says, "I believe he met two Lady Boys in the hotel bar... They are flirtatious, desperate for money and would have zeroed in on a celebrity like Carradine." Gunderson is convinced the hookers drugged Carradine, hung him and then set about staging what would look like a suicide.
Like Winters, Gunderson insists a reported mystery footprint on Carradine's bed is the biggest clue in the case. He adds, "One of the Lady Boys may have stepped behind him, looped a length of rope around Carradine's neck and strangled him."
This is a very disturbing claim. But they aren’t the first people to say Carradine enjoyed unusual sexual pastimes. We just hope, for his family’s sake, that they catch whoever it is that committed this crime.

The service, which was held at a church at Forest Lawn Cemetery, drew in Tom Selleck, Jane Seymour, Lucy Liu and hundreds of other friends.
Some mourners came dressed in kilts, Native American headdresses, leather fringe jackets, sandals and multi-colored cowboy boots, reports People magazine.
"It was touching, but light-hearted," Carradine's older brother Bruce tells People. "There weren't a lot of tears, but there was a lot of laughter."
Carradine's brothers, children and friends spent two hours sharing memories of the late actor with friends and fans. There was a photo montage playing in the background and two of his children performed on the piano and harp.
Rest in peace David, you'll be missed!

An independent autopsy conducted on David confirmed that he didn't commit suicide; however, the cause of his death is still unknown.
"The autopsy findings and the evidence thus far available demonstrate that Mr. Carradine's death was not the result of suicide," Dr. Michael Baden said in a prepared statement released through the Associated Press Thursday.
"However, to reach a final determination as to the cause and the manner of death we must wait for further information from Thailand as to the scene findings and the completion of the crime laboratory and toxicology studies that are still being performed."
Carradine was found tied in rope in a hotel room in Bangkok, Thailand on June 3, 2009. His family does not believe that Carradine would commit suicide and are convinced that he was "assassinated" because he was trying to expose an underworld martial arts group.
Aside from the independent doctors hired by the family, the FBI will reportedly also conduct their own investigation. What's your theory on his death?

Hollyscoop caught up with David’s co-star Frank Krueger who stared with David in one of his last films Break . Krueger, who is a martial arts practitioner said, “There have always been stories of martial arts societies that kill those that threaten their secrecy. One of the widely held theories about Bruce Lee's death was that he was killed by one of these groups for teaching martial arts secrets."
Krueger admitted that these types of secret societies aren’t unheard of and are pretty widely accepted amongst the martial arts world. "I don't have any knowledge of any specific groups and did not speak to David about any of this," added Krueger.
Krueger does remember hearing stories from David on the set of Break about "standing up to crime families that threatened him back in the seventies."
"He carried himself with a large martial arts presence and from his story it was clear that he was pretty fearless when dealing with groups of that nature," continued Krueger.
Two days before his death, Carradine had flown to Thailand to begin work on his latest film Stretch. The actor was found dead, hanging in the closet, in his luxurious hotel room in Thailand. In regards to his death Krueger said, “I can't say whether or not David was killed for uncovering a secret society or not, but as a martial artist I think it would be a legendary end to an extraordinary life. Like Bruce Lee, mystery often surrounds the death of the great ones.”
Krueger went on to say, "My experience of martial arts is one of enlightenment and growth, not violence and murder. However, it is not inconceivable to me that there could be an ancient society that currently existed that might cause harm to others."
In regards to thoughts that Carradine might have committed suicide, Krueger says, "Personally, as unbelievable as it may sound, the theories currently being discussed as the cause of death make more sense to me than suicide.
"I don't know what happened to David in Bangkok, but hopefully through a formal and thorough investigation, the family will be able to get closure. My heart goes out to them, as I respect David as a martial artist and an actor. David was a fascinating and great man."
Break was one of the last films David Carradine filmed, and will be available on DVD starting July 14. Click here to check out more information on Break.
What are your thoughts in regards to all this. Do you believe David was murdered by a secret Kung Fu sect or did he commit suicide?

His family does not believe that Carradine would commit suicide and are convinced that he was "assassinated" because he was trying to expose an underworld martial arts group.
Carradine was found dead in his hotel room last week and his death still remains a mystery. He was found naked with ropes tied around his neck, genitals and wrists.
The Thai police don't believe that there was any foul play but the actor's family is not convinced.
Carradine's family attorney Mark Geragos says, "David was very interested in investigating and disclosing secret societies - absolutely. What that means is connected to his interest in martial arts.
"And so there is a suspicion that if there was some foul play, that may be the first area they should look."
Carradine's family has asked the FBI to conduct their own investigation.

The maid found Carradine in his hotel room closet in the nude with a yellow rope tied around his neck.
Police initially called it a suspected suicide but his manager isn't believing it.
"I can tell you 100 percent that he would have never committed suicide," his manager told People Magazine.
"He was too full of life....We are not saying it's an accidental death because we don't know," says Smith. "Right now we are just letting everyone know that it's under investigation and we'll see ... I just know he didn't do this to himself."
Meanwhile, the chief police on the case is saying that he feels that the actor did commit suicide, but it is suspicious. Maybe that's why there are silly rumors going around that say he died of an orgasm. Apparently, his heart failed while he was having an orgasm. Why would he have an orgasm in the closet?
The autopsy is set to be released in 2 days.

Carradine’s manager Chuck Binder tells Fox News his death is “shocking and sad. He was full of life, always wanting to work…a great person.”
David Carradine is best known for his leading role of Kwai Chang Caine on the 1970s series Kung Fu, and most recently his role in Kill Bill.
The AP reports a preliminary police investigation found that he had hanged himself with a cord used with the room's curtains. It cited police as saying he had been dead at least 12 hours and there was no sign that he had been assaulted.
Our thoughts go out to Carradine’s family and friends at this time.
