David Beckham was pulled over Tuesday afternoon by an LA Sheriff after he made an illegal left turn on Fairfax and Sunset. The cop had the nerve to give him a ticket, can you believe that? It's freakin David Beckham! I would just ask for a kiss and call it even.

Becks told the cop that he was trying to escape the pack of paps that were tailgating his SUV. A bystander says, "David was really co-operative. I think he knew he was in the wrong."

After he chatted with the cop for about 5 minutes, he was given a $160 ticket and let go. Traffic school anyone?
