David Beckham had to undergo emergency surgery on Wednesday after he tore his Achilles tendon on Sunday during the AC Milan/Chievo game.
Becks was seen leaving a private clinic in Turku, Finland on Wednesday after getting surgery on his left leg.
“I have appreciated so much all the messages I have received after the injury,” David said in a statement to BBC.
“I want to thank from my heart all the Rossoneri. The club, the doctors, my team-mates and the fans.”
So will David ever play again? Yes! He's expected to make a full recovery and “will be able to play again,” according to a statement from AC Milan, but he'll be out for at least six months.
Earlier this week Victoria was seen rushing to LAX to board a plane to be by her hubby's side. Can't think of a hotter nurse than Mrs. Beckham! Wishing Becks a speedy recovery!
