David Beckham To Raise Money For Fire Victims

David Beckham

David Beckham wants to do a charity football match to raise money for the victims of the California wildfire.

A source says, "(L.A. Galaxy) wanted to do something to help after seeing the wildfires on the TV. The MLS (Major League Soccer) season has finished so they were free to play a match and all thought it would be a great idea to do one for charity.

"They wanted to assist as the fires are on their doorstep and there are lots of money-raising events and donations going on.

"David particularly wanted to help. He has been watching the fires on TV and was stunned at the devastation. He hopes they raise a lot of money for the victims."

Beckham teamed up with Jones' Hollywood United to make this match happen. The charity game between L.A. Galaxy and Hollywood United will take place at L.A.'s Home Depot Center on November 4, 2007.

That’s really sweet of Becks and the LA Galaxy team to lend support to the victims of the fire. This just goes to show you that he’s really an caring guy.

Raise money? Why doesn't he donate some of that fat paycheck he got to sit on the bench all season.

How about donating the money he has been paid for playing soccer and DIDNT!!!! That would rebuild quite a few homes. Doubt if him and skeletor spice reck would even consider something like that, eh.
