David Beckham Helps Commemorate Diana Tribute

July 02, 2007

We know its not “Beckham Tuesday” but we still got to share some Beckham love. Soccer ace David Beckham made an appearance last night at Wembley stadium not to play soccer, but to join in for the festivities taking place for the tribute for Princess Diana.

Beckham got one of the biggest cheers of the night when he stepped onstage. Before he introduced the band “Take That” David commended Prince William and Harry for hosting a event which he described as "truly remarkable” and went on to say, “the nation should be proud of them."

In regards to Princess Diana David Beckham stated: “Princess Diana made such a huge impact on everyone’s lives, not just in our country but everyone around the world. “She was amazing. Not just the way she was but her beauty too.”

If you missed the show no worries we’ve got a clip just for you Beckham fanatics. Enjoy!
