Are the Beckhams over Hollywood?
Reports have hit the celebrity gossip realm claiming that David Beckham and his family are packing their things and retreating back to the UK. But, based on some insight we’ve dug up, that might not be completely true.
The main issue holding David, Victoria and their three sons, Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, and Cruz, 7, back from the move is that dad’s next career move is very much up in the air.
A source close to the family tells Hollyscoop that there’s “nothing planned yet as [the family is] not sure where David will be playing next and where they will live.”
As we previously reported, David played out his final game in an LA Galaxy uniform last year when he led the team to its second consecutive MLS championship.
“I’ve got some interesting and exciting options on the table. I'm very flattered,” David told HS at the time. “I still feel I can play.”
Those options range from David suiting up for another club in Europe to becoming a Galaxy owner himself. A definite decision is still in the works.
The rumor of the family’s move back to London after a five-year stint in L.A. can be sourced back to RadarOnline.com, who is reporting that the “Beckhams have officially kissed Los Angeles good-bye.”
“On the last day before school broke for Christmas vacation, the headmaster of the school announced at an assembly for the entire student body that the Beckhams were moving back to London. Both Victoria and David were at the flag ceremony assembly, and were very touched at the outpouring of love from the school," reported Radar.
Good news is, they're not going anywhere...yet.
But, sorry London… You can’t have ‘em back just yet!
