Can you believe it’s already been a year since the Beckham's invaded America? David Beckham sat down with the Sun to talk about his eventful year and how he still struggles to understand his teammates American accents. It's actually pretty cute, check out some tidbits from the interview:
On the American accent: "I must say I've had a few issues on that front. I sometimes say something and some of the players don't understand me. Then they say things and I don't have a clue what they are going on about.
"The other day a teammate said they had a raspberry, or it may have been strawberry. I can't remember. They were talking about a grass burn! I couldn't get my head around that one."
Beckham added that his sons were starting to sound American.” They’re at school every day and learning different things about America. This is to be expected."
Don't worry Becks, your accent just adds to your sex appeal!
