And you thought The Gathering of the Juggalos was intense. Because the music of Glee is so violent and mosh-pit inspiring, Glee star Darren Criss was dragged offstage by a fan.
Criss tweeted: “btw I’m lucky I didn’t hit my head on the gate in front of this lady. Seriously close call tonight… Like, please don’t kill me. I’m nice. … To the lady who pulled me off the stage and into the pit tonight: if I ever see you on a stage… keep your wits about ya. Love, Darren :) “
The Glee Live tour has been performing to sold out shows across North America, which is pretty impressive, considering it’s a bunch of covers.
And if nearly being hit on the head wasn’t bad enough, Criss also starred in a Katy Perry music video that released over the weekend.
Perry released the full music video for Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.), and it was filled with familiar faces. In the video, Perry takes on an alter ego—Kathy.
Kathy is a thirteen year-old girl from the nineties who wears large glasses and headgear. She wakes up the morning after a huge party, trying to remember what she did the previous night. Along with Criss, Corey Feldman and Kenny G also make appearances in the video. There’s also a nip slip and a chicken.
Rebecca Black also stars in the video, which includes references to underage drinking and sex. She’s come a long way since deciding where to sit in a car.
