Kylie's sister and her boyfriend Kris Smith welcomed their first child, Ethan Edward Smith, together in Melbourne on Monday.
A statement released on behalf of Dannii and Kris said: "Kris Smith and Dannii Minogue are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ethan Edward Smith on 5 July 2010.
"Mother and baby are doing well and dad is very proud. They request their privacy at this special time to adjust as new parents."
Dannii's sister Kylie is expected to head home to Australia later this month to meet her nephew. Aww! Congrats! What a lucky baby!

While picking up her "Woman of the Year" award, Cheryl said, "Four or five years ago I'd never dreamt I'd be here amongst so many women. One person I definitely have to thank is my dentist. So thank you very much."

And now the trendy mom has been named the World's Most Glamorous Celebrity in a poll by make-up brand Max Factor.
A spokesperson said: "Victoria Beckham has been gracing the fashion pages for years now with her glamorous looks and she has designed her own clothes range.
"She never leaves home without being fully made up and her signature glossy pout has become her calling card."
The pregnant gorgeous sister of Kylie Minogue, Dannii, came in at a close second. The rep added: "Dannii Minogue has become more popular after showcasing a wide range of glamorous looks on 'The X Factor'."
Considering the fact that Victoria only dresses down once or twice a year, we'd say they picked the right woman for the title!

Minogue took to her website to confirm the good news yesterday, writing, “Woo hoo I'm gonna be a mummy! :-) (sic).”
She's expected to give birth in July and couldn't be more thrilled about it! Bet Kylie's going to make an amazing aunt too!
Her spokesperson said: “Dannii and Kris are very excited and can't wait to start their family in 2010. Rumors and stories surfaced across the weekend about Dannii being pregnant and having already had her 12-week scan. These stories were incorrect. Dannii had her 12 week scan this week and was given the results today with the all clear to make an announcement.”
Dannii and Kris have been dating for a little over a year, but she knew he was the man she was meant to have children with. She had previously said, “I’ve never been maternal. I almost thought I was going to escape it, and now I’m in a relationship that is just so right, maybe I have to think about it.”
Congrats to the happy couple! Hope Kylie's next!
