The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has sought out the assistance of Dr. Drew Pinsky, saying that she has problems with low self esteem that are rooted in sexual abuse.
"Over the years I thought about getting help but pushed it deep into the depths of denial," Staub says. "Seeing how I have hurt myself and my family this time," she continues, "I can no longer push it behind me."
Not to take anything away from the profound effects of sexual abuse, but I've noticed that a lot of women on these shows have problems with self-esteem.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they are desperately rejecting their age. Because most women in their fifties somehow manage to not wear leather leggings and decide to be a stripper.
And this will help. Saub is also working on a new show with Heidi Montag.
