Daniel Craig recently won the public over with his Kardashian diss, and now the actor is lined up to make history as the longest serving Bond (James Bond).
The 43 year-old actor is currently shooting Skyfall, his third James Bond movie, and producer Michael G Wilson is hoping to nab him for five more.
"Daniel's been a terrific Bond, a superb actor and a terrific man,” Wilson said. “The fans love him and I don't think there's a better actor to play the part.”
And here’s an idea. Make one of the movies 90 minutes of Daniel rattling off about reality TV and celebs, and I’m guessing the box office numbers will soar through the roof. Because I’ve never seen a single James Bond movie, but after him calling people like the Kardashians “f-cking idiots”, I’m fascinated by this dude.
If Daniel does five more movies, it’ll bring his James Bond total to eight, which is one more than Sir Roger Moore, who has starred in seven Bond films.
Wilson continued: "It's certainly something we'll be discussing with him once we finish shooting 'Skyfall'. Filming has gone very well so far and I'd love Daniel to surpass Roger's record and do eight pictures.”
And apparently, there’s only one Bond cooler than Daniel Craig.
"A lot of people have said Daniel's been their favorite Bond since Sean Connery and I can't argue with them. He's doing a great job."
And what can we expect from Skyfall?
"The director Sam Mendes and Daniel are taking it back to a 60s feel -more Sean,” Wilson continued.
“I think that's what the fans wanted. There's a magical 'Goldfinger' feel surrounding it all. It's all very exciting. I can't wait for people to see the movie because I think we're making a very special Bond."
