Working your butt off to make millions is pretty hard, and dealing with your family stealing millions from you is even harder.
Dane Cook has finally opened up about his half brother (and his former manager, Darryl McCauley) who is accused of stealing millions of dollars from him. McCauley was arrested in December.
"It's a terrible betrayal," Cook said on Larry King Live Thursday night.
"I worked with my only half brother for several years," Cook said. "Woke up one day and a lot of stuff was missing. There is a good chunk of money that is certainly not accounted for. That's all I can say about it at this point."
"But hopefully justice will be served and I can move on with my life," Cook added.
McCauley has pleaded not guilty to his eight charges, but the prosecutors are alleging that he would put Cook's money into his own account aside from getting paid $12,500 for being his manager.
Talk about greed! The sad thing is McCauley probably never would have found a job that paid him $12K a month if it wasn't for Cook's generosity. Send him to the slammer!
