I’m guessing no one had any cheese.
Dancing with the Stars competitor Jaleel White reportedly got into a “heated” confrontation with his partner, Kym Johnson, on Friday. And it was apparently so bad that Mark Ballas and the show’s producers had to intervene.
An insider says that White—who played Steve Urkel on Family Matters--“flipped out” after he accidentally stepped on Johnson’s foot. Johnson then said, “ouch,” a pretty typical reaction to getting your foot stepped on, but Jaleel wasn’t having it. The insider claims White “got in her face” and yelled at her for “acting like a baby.”
“He was shouting at her,” the source told Us Weekly. “Calling her an ‘idiot.’”
I refuse to believe Urkel acted this way, but the source insists that fellow competitor Donald Driver overheard the yelling and “tried to calm him down.”
White then “started going off on the producers and shouting about how they put him with a ‘stupid’ partner.”
Dude, someone needs to give him some Cool Juice so he can turn into Stefan, stat. Stefan would never behave this way.
Okay, and here’s where it gets really unbelievable. When Jaleel was fighting with Mark, he said: “you remind me of that annoying sitcom neighbor who gets into everyone’s business!”
He’s…self-aware? Well, that kind of takes the fun out of making Family Matters references. Ah, who am I kidding? It’ll never get old.
"The producers stepped in and broke it up before it got physical, but they were really going at it -- right up in each other's faces!" the source explains.
I really don’t care how bad of a sport Jaleel is—as long as they make him do The Urkel Dance before he leaves the show.
