On Tuesday night, Martina Navratilova was the first person eliminated from 'Dancing With the Stars.' In related news, this morning, I found out who Martina Navratilova is.
Martina is the first elimination of the season. The tennis pro and singer Gavin DeGraw were in the bottom two on Tuesday night, when host Tom Bergeron broke the news: You're out, Martina!
"It was an honor to be on the stage with you," DeGraw said. And, am I the only one who feels like, at any given moment, Gavin DeGraw is just gonna break out with:
AH don' wanna be anything mah mah mah latlaaay!
He just looks like he's ready to remind us that he sang that song at all times.
Anyway, Martina said that her time on Dancing With the Stars "was an amazing experience. I just wish that it had lasted longer."
"I gave it everything I had, but I blew it yesterday and it cost me, unfortunately. Hopefully I get to the do the jive the last week here. I look forward to coming back and I wish everybody good luck."
Martina and her partner Tony Dovolani scored 20/30 points on the season premiere, dancing the foxtrot. But on Monday, they left much to be desired…If, you know, your desire is watching old tennis champs jive. They finished in last place with a total of 37 out of 60 points.
So who's left? William Levy, Gladys Knight, Maria Menounos, Sherri Shepherd, Jack Wagner, Donald Driver, Roshon Fegan, Melissa Gilbert, Katherine Jenkins and Jaleel White.
They should just start eliminating people based on who's less of a celebrity.
