The rumblings, whispers, and hums have all been confirmed… “Dancing with the Stars” will have an all-star edition.
Previous competitors - 12 total - will return one more time to battle it out with their moves. The question remains… Who’s it going to be?
Some stars are raring to get back on the dance floor and made no effort to hide their excitement when talking to Hollyscoop.
“I just heard about Dancing with the Stars all-stars, I would totally do it,” Audrina Patridge said at a Colgate Event.
That enthusiasm was matched by Season 14 fourth-placer Maria Menounos who would come back “in a freaking second.”
“I am so addicted to dancing and 'Dancing with the Stars' that the second they wanted me back, I would be there,” Menounos said.
Two-time champion Julianne Hough will likely not make another appearance now that her film career has officially kicked off with Rock of Ages. She did share her opinion with Access Hollywood on who should return to the all-star edition.
“I think Mel B would be amazing back on the show,” said Hough.
Finalist Stacy Keibler was a little more muted when asked if she would appear in the all-star show, telling Hollyscoop “You’ll have to wait and find out.” When pushed to see if that was a disguised “yes,” Keibler came back with same response.
Come on, Stacy… Give us something to work with!
Our friend from “The View,” Sherri Shepherd was more open with her nostalgia for the show.
“You can see the tears running through my makeup ... I miss it every day," she said.
Sherri and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy finished 10th on Season 14… Not exactly all-star material, but certainly a crowd pleaser!
Another audience favorite was Mario Lopez, who was the one to slip the news about the special show to begin with on a episode of “Live With Kelly.”
“You know what, Kelly? They’re doing ‘Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars next season,” Lopez said. “They called me to do it.”
For now, it’s a waiting game… The all-star rendition of “DWTS” will air this fall on ABC.
