Elisabetta Canalis Voted off Dancing With the Stars
Another contestant was booted off ‘Dancing With the Stars’ tonight. Clooney’s ex girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis struggled through the second week of competition, and was eventually voted off.

Elisabetta and David Arquette were both in jeopardy of being eliminated tonight after failing to impress the judges and get enough votes from viewers.

After her name was announced, she was super classy about the departure. She thanked her fans (who apparently didn’t bother to vote) and said, “For me, it was a gift … it was a great experience….I want to thank everyone, thank you to public. Thank you, it was a great experience.”

Her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy said, "I'm very proud of you. I wish I did better for you."

Before she took the stage for the cha-cha last week a video of her and partner Val Chmerkovskiy that aired showed how frustrated she was in her own performance, and she talked about how dancing didn’t come naturally for her. She said it in that hot accent of hers so you probably ignored what she was actually saying. She could talk for hours and I’d listen without understanding a single word she’s saying. #justsayin.

So back to her cha-cha. She ended up getting 15 out of possible 30 points in the season premiere last week, which was just one point more than Ron Artest, or Metta World Peace (I’ll never get used to that name), who was voted off last week.

Her performance was much better this week, but not good enough to take her to week three. The judges praised her quickstep, and she got a total of 21 points.

“It’s not great, but it was better than last week,” judge Len Goodman told the pair after their dance. Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Toniolo gave them better feedback. Again, it’s her hot accent.

I’m sure this won’t be the last we see of Elisabetta. I don’t know what team is behind her, but she’s been getting a ton of endorsements and work lately. And it’s not just the George Clooney factor because all of his ex girlfriends pretty much went back to being cocktail waitresses. Hello, Sarah Larson. Where are you? You still alive?

Back to DWTS, Chaz Bono had the lowest score on Monday night, getting just 17 points, while Ricki Lake topped the leader board with 23.
