DWTS Week 3 Recap: Ricki Lake Wows, Jay Cutler Shows His Support for Kristin

On last night’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, Kristin Cavallari had a special guest in the audience. Her ex-fiancé, Chicago bears quarterback Jay Cutler was in the audience to cheer on Cavallari.

The two called off their engagement in July after 10 months together, but a source says that the pair is “working it out.”

Bad news for everyone who was rooting for Kristen and her dance partner Mark Ballas to hook up. What would you rather have? A ballroom dancer or a quarterback? Quarterback. Always the quarterback.

However, Kristin and Mark’s on set chemistry is working, they earned 24 points last night for their sultry samba to “Crazy in Love.”

Does DWTS bring people back together? Because Courteney Cox Arquette has been in the audience for her ex-husband David Arquette nearly every week. I guess the quickstep just has a way of making people forget their problems.

However, the big winner last night on DWTS was Ricki Lake. Each of the three judges gave her 9 out of 10 points, earning 27 overall for her rumba with dance partner Derek Hough.

To be fair, Ricki Lake grew up on Broadway, so dancing for her is second nature. Once she gets on the Kirstie Alley weight loss plan, she’ll be a force to reckon with.

“That was the actress-dancer at her best,” said Bruno.

But Chaz Bono couldn’t catch a break. He’s made more headlines for being a dude who used to be a chick, but he’s not very good at dancing.

“You just didn’t dance enough,” said judge Carrie Ann, which is kind of necessary for a dance show.

Rob Kardashian is surprisingly not bad, I don’t even think his family expected him to be this good.

He tied for 24 points with David Arquette, Cavallari and Hope Solo. His performance with Cheryl Burke was praised by Len, “You put the dash into Kardashian.”

If you want to talk specific’s, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe put the “dash” into Kardashian with their line of “Dash” boutiques in LA, NY and Miami, but we’ll let Rob have it this one night.

Cheryl Burke says that this show is really changing Rob. He’s losing weight and apparently wearing “tank tops to rehearsals” because he’s proud of his new physique. Burke also adds that “his whole physical appearance has changed.”

Do I sense a crush on Rob by his dance partner?! Eh?
