Fatone follows Pam Anderson as the first two to leave the show, meaning two of the most relevant celebrities are gone. We’re now left with a former Bachelor contestant, a politician's daughter, some athletes and Kirstie Alley (and them some).
Joey and his partner were sent home, even though the bottom three performances of Monday night belonged to Kirstie Alley, Bristol Palin, and Kelly Monaco.
However, during elimination night, after a combination of fans votes and judges’ scores, the bottom three went to Fatone, Monaco, and Helio Castroneves.
Sadly, Fatone’s fans just weren’t voting for the star.
“I’ll miss everybody out here. Everybody was great. I had a great time,” says Fatone, “I’m actually going to a wedding tomorrow so I don’t give a damn! I’m going to have a good time.”
HOLD THE PHONE! Joey Fatone, the former ‘N Sync boy bander, is going to a wedding TODAY!? Could that wedding be the union of the other ‘N Sync member Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel! OMG!
But I digress.
Back to DWTS. Joey told his partner, “I didn’t let you down. People said I was fun and that’s all that matters.”
While Joey was stoked to be leaving, his partner…not so much.
“I’m sad,” said pro ballroom dancer Kym Johnson, “I’m not going to lie.”
Next week, the remaining couples will face a double elimination! Dun dun dun!
