Maria Menounos and her partner Derek Hough were eliminated from Dancing With The Stars last night!
How could this happen? Menounos usually gets the highest votes each week AND she topped the leader board during Monday night’s performances.
I guess making out with your partner can only save you for so long.
After it was announced that Maria was going home, she maintained a happy face and told host Tom Bergeron, “I learned how strong I was, and I learned to persevere.”
She then told partner Derek Hough, “I wouldn’t have made it this far without his amazing talent and choreography.”

Derek then told Maria, “I’ve loved dancing with this woman. She is not just a champion of dancing; she is a champion of life.”
High praise from the little blonde dancing man.
Once Maria was off the show, the other contestants were jumping for joy.
Blonde singer Katherine Jenkins was jumping up and down, clearly no longer in pain from last night’s back injury. What a suspiciously quick recovery Katherine Jenkins if-that’s-even-your-real-name!?
The remaining contestants are: Donald Driver and partner Peeta Murgatroyd, Katherine Jenkins and partner Mark Ballas, and William Levy and partner Cheryl Burke.
