“Dancing With The Stars” may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean fans don’t have anything to look forward to.
An All-star edition of the ABC dancing hit series is official. And the internet is exploding opinions of which 12 dancers should return for the epic dance-off.
Some of the “DWTS” stars are even weighing in with their opinions.
“I think I definitely had one of the best stars in [J.R. Martinez],” dancer Karina Smirnoff told Hollyscoop at the 102.7 Kiis FM's Wango Tango. “But other than JR … Jason Taylor. Gilles Marini … Evan Lysacek. I don't know. There are a lot of great guys.”
Another name that kept popping up at the event around the topic of the All-star show was Mario Lopez.
Understandable? Maybe. Ironic? Definitely, as Lopez was the one to accidently let the news out about an All-star season to begin with.
The slipup came while Lopez was serving as a guest co-host on “Live! With Kelly.”
“You know what, Kelly? They’re doing ‘Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars next season,” Lopez said. “They called me to do it.” Doh!
Ariana Grande is definitely considering a comeback for an All-Star showdown… That is, if it works with her schedule.
“Maybe. Maybe not. I don't know,” Grande told Hollyscoop about the possibility of returning. “I would love to, I think it would be a great opportunity. I know I'd be burnt out though. Because it's a lot of work.”
The All-Star season of “DWTS” will premiere in the fall for the show’s 15th season. The season 14 finale of “DWTS” airs next week on May 21 at 8/7 c.
