Rob Kardashian: Ugh, when can I go back to lying on my sister's couch?
43 year-old singer, Chynna Phillips is the fourth contestant to be eliminated from Dancing With the Stars, Season 13. On Tuesday night, she and her partner, Tony Dovolani, were sent home.
"I'm disappointed. I'm sad, but I have to take responsibility," Phillips said during Tuesday's results show. "I messed up, but I had an amazing partner."
She should've seen this coming, as the judges were not impressed with her performance on Monday night. She and Tony gave a Mission Impossible themed tango routine. How appropriate.
"Tony has been there for me 100 percent the entire way," she added. "I'm very grateful to have been on this show and had the opportunity."
Phillips admitted that she forgot some of the choreography during the performance. I'm guessing that had something to do with her elimination.
"I saw the frightened look in her face and I just wanted to calm her down. It's a live show, things happen," Dovolani said. "Blackouts have happened to all of us, and the thing is, she finished the routine."
"I drew a blank,” Phillips explained. “It’s just one of those things where you’re about to take a math test, you think you know every answer and then all of a sudden you go blank. I felt badly it had to happen. Tony is an amazing teacher. We worked really really hard for that dance and unfortunately the whole thing sort of unraveled."
She continued, "A lot of different things kind of triggered it. There was a lot of waiting around time before we actually danced so I got in my head a little bit. But I really have to say that everything happens the way it’s supposed to happen, and I’m really grateful to have had the opportunity to be on the show.”
Carson Kressley might be the next to go. He places last with the judges on Monday, after performing a pirate-themed waltz. He was entertaining, but his dance moves just weren't that impressive. He placed last with the judges.
On a more positive note, Julianne Hough returned to the DWTS stage to do a number with her Footloose costar, Kenny Wormald.
"I definitely got a little emotional," Hough says about coming back to her old studio. She and Kenny killed the stage, but Julianne said before the performance: "I don’t think I've ever been this nervous to do the show."
So is there any sibling rivalry between Julianne and her brother, Derek Hough? Doesn’t look like it.
"Julianne is an absolute superstar," he says with a smile. "This girl is incredible. I'm so proud of her."
