Dakota Fanning A Diva? - Dakota Fanning

Dakota Fanning is a great actress, but has she already become a diva? Last week, we reported that Dakota dropped out of her latest film, My Sister's Keeper, because she didn't wanna shave her head.

Production on the movie was supposed to start next month. The film is about little girl who sues for emancipation from parents who conceived her as a genetic match so she could prolong the life of her ailing older sister.

While doing research for the role, Dakota visited a hospital with the director of the movie, Nick Cassavetes. They visited some child cancer patients so Dakota can get a better feeling of what her role entails. While in the room filled with cancer patients, Dakota was reportedly heard saying, "there is no way I will ever shave my head and look like these kids."

Wow, that's sorta harsh! After that the director of the movie has been seen wearing a t-shirt saying FDF(I'll let you figure out what that means) and Dakota has dropped out of the film and taken her sister with her.

How can anyone here believe this? How does anyone know exactly what Dakota Fanning said while visiting the sick children? She is much more mature than that, and I'm sure she did not present herself in such a manner while infront of young, sick fans. You can't believe anything (if anything) you read online. Plus, I don't blame her for not wanting to shave her head. While mature, she's still young, and the public expects her to "be" twice her age all the time. You can't get all angry just because she did not want to part with her hair for money. She has plenty, and does not need the extra cash, I'm sure. She probably thinks twice about which movies she wants to play a part in, now that she is older, and busier.

tj, she was not actually rapedin Hounddog--it was a movie. However they actually wanted her to shave her head FOR REAL in My Sister's Keeper. I can't understand this kid. It was okay for her to get raped and ask to see litle boys wee-wees in the film Hounddog but she can't her head. She is really messed up. Dakota is in N. Carolina filming The Secret Life of Bees. Production on My Sister's Keeper doesn;t start until next month. This is an awful rumor, and shame on anyone who would believe Dakota could be so cruel after she has done so much for kids. She has visited kids in hospitals many times and gives a lot to charity. Just check her fan sites of youtube for picture proof.

And to those of you who are condemning her for "how she said it," you weren't there! Wow, I understand that she is young and doesn't get the situation and pain that cancer brings on to those poor children, but when I was as young as her, I would NOT have expressed myself like that about the whole thing, although I do agree that I wouldn't want to shave my head either. The way she said it just shows me how ugly her character is moulding from an early age and I just hope she doesn't grow up to be a complete bitch. Still, I can't judge because we never know if her quote was changed just to make her look like a spoiled brat. Don't know...but whatever, to each their own.
