Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda on SATC just got engaged to her longtime girlfriend
Christine Marinoni.
The couple, who began dating after Cynthia split from her husband Danny Mozes in 2003, announced their engagement during the Love, Peace and Marriage Equality rally in New York City on Sunday.
Cynthia and Christine are currently involved in supporting the new gay-rights bill proposed by NY Gov. David Paterson to achieve equality for same-sex unions.
Congrats to the happy couple!
