Cynthia and her man, I mean woman?, Christine Marinoni welcomed son Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni into the world on Monday.
Their rep said: "Christine and baby are doing great."
I'm trying to understand why Christine, who is all about 'I'm a man' would have the baby and not Cynthia. I mean, the guy wears suits and probably had his breasts removed. I just don’t get it.
Cynthia ended her relationship with Danny Mozes, the father of her two children in 2003, and came out of the closet. Cynthia and Danny had met in high school, but they never married.
"Maybe I'm just lucky, but I feel like Christine is so amazing with our kids — because they’re our kids," Cynthia told The Advocate last year, adding that sometimes her children call Marinoni "Mommy."
Congrats to the happy Ginger family!

The second film has drawn a ton of criticism, which has almost overshadowed the film itself. It ended up at #3 at the box office with $37 million. It got beat out by Prince of Persia ($37.8 million), and Shrek Forever After ($55.7 million).
But enough about the numbers—was it good or not? If you ask Hollyscoop, we say yes! SATC is about female relationships, life changes, hardship, and fabulous clothes! Did we get all of that in SATC2? Yes!
That being said, it’s understandable that the sequel got so many bad reviews. The expectation that comes along with the franchise is massive, and many viewers likely went into the theater knowing they wouldn’t like it as much as the first movie, or as much as the series for that matter!
The first SATC movie was thrilling to everyone, not only because it marked the return of every woman’s favorite show, but we were finally getting the satisfaction of seeing Carrie and Big make things official.
This time around, the four women’s lives are all in limbo. Miranda hates her job, Samantha is trying to fight off menopause, Carrie and Big are in a rut, and Charlotte’s kids are driving her nuts. While it may not be as exciting as the first film’s storyline, it’s a reality every woman faces.
So was the sequel just a little too much reality and not enough fantasy for you? One thing we can probably all agree on—the clothes are still fabulous! Tell us what you think: Did SATC2 suck?

The Hollywood Reporter quotes Warners domestic distribution president Dan Fellman saying, "Exceeding all expectations is the best way to open any film… Having $14.2 million in the bank at the start of a long holiday weekend is even better." The movie made an additional $3 million in midnight sales on Wednesday.

The New Line dramedy is expected to bring in over $62 million through this Memorial Day weekend. And we wouldn't be surprised if it hits the $70 mil mark.
Take it from us and don't listen to the stupid old critics. If a 70 year-old man is forced to watch SATC, of course he's going to hate it. It's a great chick flick and the fashion is 100x better than the first movie. Grab your girlfriends and head out to the theaters, you won't be disappointed!

Charlotte's kids won't stop complaining and Samantha is desperately trying to put off menopause. Just a few weeks left til the premiere!
Check out some hilarious clips from the sequel below...

Sarah Jessica Parker on being dressed up on a camel: "Kim and I had this camel that without any warning would just sit down whenever he wanted. And we were dressed like lunatics!" Parker says. "Designer couture on camels. And I mean Couture. I had some vintage Dior pieces from the couture archives on a camel."
Chris Noth (Mr. Big) on being upset he missed out on Morocco: "I had [the series finale in] Paris, but I was still really f---ing pissed! Corbett gets to go? I said, 'If there's another one, Carrie and Big are going on a worldwide f---ing tour because we need to spruce things up before her first baby or something.' I don't know I'm making it up."
John Corbett (Aidan) on making Mr. Big jealous: "I love it, because I was ultra-jealous of those guys when they got to be in the first movie. I called Noth on his birthday while I was there. I passed the phone around. I couldn't wait to rub it in, because he was really bummed out that he couldn't come. I like creating jealousy."
John Corbett on keeping his cameo a secret: "I couldn't believe that I got to go there and the paparazzi never caught me," says the actor. "The whole time we were there, one guy got a shot off, but I had a little bag I was carrying and I got it up in front of my face. That was the only photo - a big, tall guy with a bag in front of his face."
Director Michael Patrick King on why he choose an exotic five-star vacation for the sequel: "We were in the middle of an economic downturn, and I realized that during the Great Depression, the movies' job was to go to a bit of an escapist's bend," says King, who took over as show-runner on the HBO series after creator Darren Star stepped down in 2000. "So I thought, let's take everybody on a big, fun trip. Because I don't think people want to see Carrie Bradshaw selling apples under the bridge."

The actresses had previously denied any on set issues, but now that they're gearing up to promote the movie, they're admitting there was a lot of arguments.
Sarah Jessica Parker says, "When you're on set, you're working 90-hour weeks, you're never home, you're exhausted. There are times when all of us have been sensitive and sometimes feelings get hurt. But I don't have any regrets about how I've treated people."
Kim Cattrall Hints at Third Sex and the City Movie
Cynthia Nixon adds, "It hasn't always been smooth sailing. But the idea that we're somehow adversarial is ludicrous."
And Kim Cattrall insists despite their occasional bickering, they make jokes to lighten the mood: "Nineteen-hour workdays are stressful, whether you're driving a truck, working in a coal mine or on a set and trying to be your brightest at 4 o'clock in the morning. But there's a camaraderie that happened through all of that... The chemistry among the four of us is very strong."
Quite frankly, we could care less about what happened when the cameras stopped rolling. They have such great chemistry in the movie, that's all we're excited about--and the fashion of course!

Kim Cattrall hinted that if SATC creator Michael Patrick King could think of a good plot line, the ladies would all be on board.
She said: “We’ll call time when there are no stories left to tell and that’s really the writer Michael Patrick King’s call. The great thing about the ‘Sex and the City’ series was that we didn’t stay too long. The fact that we’ve had this second life is amazing. But I’d hate for people to think, ‘Oh my god, there’s another one out there.’”
Sex and the City 2 Extended Trailer Released
Believe us Kim, we're ready for more SATC! The sequel to the SATC movie is still over a month away and SATC fans are literally counting down for the release. The fashion, the shoes, the hot men--we just can't get enough!
Kim added that she had an amazing time shooting the second film in Marrakech with fellow cast members Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.
She said: “It was really fascinating to take these four strong independent women from a completely different society and plop them into that world. And all of the storylines that happen from that are extraordinary.
"There was one particular day where I spent almost 12 hours on a camel in the Sahara. This second one I can tell you I've never had so much fun in my life."
Mark your calendars for May 27th ladies!
