CSI: NY

Now it’s Katharine McPhee’s turn! According to The Hollywood Reporer, the former Idol contestant has just booked a spot on CSI: NY.
This isn’t Katherine’s first acting gig though. She actually appeared on Ugly Betty as herself in 2007, and then stepped it up a notch playing a sorority girl in the movie House Bunny.
But now Katherine will be able to combine both her love of acting and singing, as she’ll be playing a singer on the show. This should get her ready for yet another big screen role coming up in the romantic comedy Wedlocked. Katherine will star opposite Brothers & Sisters star Dave Annable.
She’s definitely one of the Idol success stories! It looks like acting is becoming her thing more than singing though!

The two of them are starring together on an episode. According to Entertainment Weekly, Ash and Pete signed a deal to appear on the show. And according to their rep, the couple won’t be playing themselves.
This trend of hiring celebrities as guest stars isn’t going anywhere. If anything, it’s getting more and more popular. It was just a matter of time til CSI jumped on the bandwagon to see if it really is a ratings booster. Watch Ash and Pete’s episode March 18th.

With lots of big name Hollywood celebrities making cameo appearances, of course.
So far they've gotten Chris Daughtry, Rumer Willis, Julia Ormond, and Marshall Faulk. Let us know when they find some real celebrities and we'll go ahead and call in that order for the sheet cake and helium balloons.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation @ 8pm
Fans who didn't catch either the seventh-season finale or the eighth-season premiere (or true fanatics who simply want to devour both again) can watch them back-to-back tonight. They each center on the fate of Sara, who is kidnapped by the so-called miniature killer and left to die under a car in the desert. This is also when her relationship with Grissom is brought out into the open. It's a revelation that stuns the other CSIs.
Clash of the Choirs @ 8pm The choirs have sung their hearts out and the moment of truth draws near as this four-night event from New York City winds down. After picking the best of the five choirs fronted by Michael Bolton, Patti LaBelle, Kelly Rowland, Nick Lachey and Blake Shelton, the final three face off for the title, which will be determined by viewer votes.
The Office @ 10pm
The current writers' strike has certainly shut the doors of this office, but the show still has the "write stuff," as evidenced by this repeat of the hour-long Season 4 opener. A big, spooky question arises tonight. Is the office cursed? Michael believes so, especially after a freak accident occurs. Michael scrutinizes his staffers' religious beliefs, then organizes a charity 5K "fun run." In addition, the status of the two love stories involving Jam (Jim and Pam) and Dwangela (Dwight and Angela) come to light tonight.
The Girls Next Door @ 9pm
Get in touch with our fave Playboy girls tonight, is a rerun where Holly wants to update the much needed old style mansion but Hef wants to keep it 70's style. He's such an oldie kinda guy! Stay tuned for series debut this Sunday at 10pm, the show is named Half baked Alaska, so we might be seeing where #1 girlfriend Holly grew up! And next week is the infamous "Midsummer Night's Dream Party" with an "Arabian Nights" theme.

Real World: Australia @ 9pm
Well as Parisa so comically said, "the honeymoon is over!" for Dunbar and Ashli as they bicker over everything but the real problem. The real problem being Dunbar has a girlfriend and isn't interested in taking things further, than there night of passion that is. Spoiler alert: while the Sydney cast is hum drumming away, the new Real World just wrapped on Dec. 11th.....and the new location is none other than (drum roll please!) Hollywood!! Going back to their roots like in New York season one, the casting called for professionally driven roommates. The cast will be made up of actors, models, singers (an American idol reject), a comedian, and a reporter. They were housed on a CBS owned loft that was remodeled to be completely "green" and environment friendly. Soooo L.A.! New season airs in April.
Gossip Girl @ 9pm
We missed her last week! Tonight, it's Christmastime in the city.... and for this holiday, Blair's dad finally comes home. Only Blair's not happy to discover that he didn't come alone — he brought his boyfriend, Roman, with him. This means Blair will have her hands full, as she has to try to get rid of Roman, as well as persuade Chuck not to spill info about their secret hookup to Nate, with whom he's vacationing. Meanwhile, Dan and Serena have a holiday with less drama, and more coziness, as they plan very special surprises for each other. And Rufus gets an unwelcome surprise when Alison's former lover calls the house.
CSI: NY @ 9pm
Here's the third installment in Jerry Bruckheimer's hit crime-procedural franchise focuses on New York forensic investigators Mac Taylor and Stella Bonasera. Previously on CSI, a murder victim is discovered with traces of disappearing ink and an exploding cigar. The investigation leads the CSIs to a notorious prank seller known as Laughing Larry. Meanwhile, Danny probes a case that involves a boy from his neighborhood. Tonight, a much-despised hotel owner is discovered dead beneath an ice sculpture; and a woman is accidentally hit and killed by a school bus while walking down a highway in her nightgown.
Newport Harbor @ 10:30pm
It's the new Laguna Beach! Back from a short hiatus- and making use of the writer's strike- four new episodes showing the cast on holiday school breaks. Last week, we say Chrissy and Clay's awkward reunion after not seeing each other since they parted with Chrissy heading to Santa Barbara for school. Clay had been faithful, but Chrissy failed to tell him she'd been hooking up with a new boy from school, Billy. Clay went out of town the following night scouting schools in Arizona, and Chrissy had a party at her house. Her sorority girlfriends surprised her with Billy and his friend stopping by- she made out with him no less and Grant spilled the beans to Clay. Tonight, Clay goes to check up on her and see for his own eyes her cheating ways....
