JB makes his acting debut on the the CBS hit series on September 23 playing a troubled teen. In a recent interview with Teen Vogue, Beiber said of the role, “It seems like I’m this sweet and innocent kid, and then it turns out I’m the mastermind behind everything.”
CSI executive producer Carol Mendelsohn told MTV News that Bieber's character Jason McCann is "a troubled young man, raised in the foster-care system, whose hard-luck life has left him scarred and angry. At the end of the episode, we're left with the question: Is Jason a good kid stuck in a bad situation or is Jason a bad kid hiding behind his cuteness? You can see why Justin was such a perfect choice to play this role ... It's an explosive story."

Access Hollywood reports that Taylor has landed herself a part on CSI. She’ll play Haley Jones, a teenager whose family runs a shady motel in Vegas. Serious changes within her family begin to affect her life, and the consequences are not good!
This is Taylor’s first time acting, and we think she’ll be a natural. She was great on Saturday Night Live with her cameo as little orphan Annie in one of the skits, and all of her music videos involve acting to some degree.
Taylor also told Access she started out doing children’s theater, and would always do little sketches for onstage. She’s a natural!

CBS knows this will be a good deal with Fishburne, seeing as though his debut on CSI drew in the show’s best ratings since the show’s premiere. Fishburne says of the deal, "I have always wanted to continue to expand our production efforts at Cinema Gypsy into television, and Rose Catherine's extensive background and experience in TV is a natural fit with those plans.”
It’s funny how all these film actors are now getting into television. It probably helps that there’s a ton of it, and his film offers have probably slowed down a little. But we think deals like these are making television better again. Because although reality shows still rule all the networks, there are those few shows we can always now count on being great every week.
