"Glee" is still coming to terms with the death of Cory Monteith in a tribute episode the cast and crew are currently filming. Unsurprisingly, it hasn’t been easy.
“It’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to me,” Naya Rivera, who plays Santana Lopez on the hit high school musical series, told E! News at the VMAs last night. “It is the hardest thing to do. It’s been the worst week ever.”
Darren Criss, who joined the cast in the second season of "Glee" as Blaine Anderson, echoed Naya’s sentiments. “We’re shooting it right now,” Darren said, adding, “It’s tough to shoot. It’s something that needs to happen for the fans. I don’t know, it’s going to be tough. But it will be very poignant and hopefully very moving, and just that: a tribute. Hopefully it will be a good tribute to Cory.”
The entire episode, reportedly titled “The Quarterback,” will serve as both an homage and an explanation for the absence of Finn, Cory’s character.
