According to sources at TMZ, the attorneys for Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead are currently in negotiations regarding the paternity of Dannielynn Hope.
There are rumors that Larry’s sneaky attorneys used a cup that Howard drank from during court last week to test his DNA which might have proved Larry was the true father. This could be the reason for settlement negotations. I remember seeing the video for that and how they were making a big deal about it. Sneaky sneaky!
Sources say Howard could be trying to settle with Larry, giving him what he needs for custody but making sure Howard still gets his dough and control’s ANS’s estate.
In more Anna news, Virgie Arthur's appeal that was filed on Friday was denied in court today by the judge. The judge stressed that he wants to get Anna buried as soon as possible.

I feel like my head is gonna explode with all this Britney/Anna Nicole Smith drama! On with the show...
Anna Nicole Smith's mother wants to dig up Daniel from his coffin and take him to Texas and bury him next to Anna Nicole Smith. Stern wants Anna Nicole to be buried next to her son in the Bahamas, where he died from apparent drug-related causes last year.
The Judge wants a compromise between the two parties, but the medical examiner once again warned everyone that Smith's body was decomposing more quickly than expected and a public viewing could be in danger.
"When you walked into the court, you hope to get everything," Seidlin said. "We will try to fashion a remedy where not everyone gets everything they want."
Now there is the battle of who’s making more money off Anna Nicole Smith. Anna’s mother Virgie Arthur said in court that "The only one who's ever made any money off my daughter is that man right there," pointing to Stern. She added, "I heard that "ET" is buying her death funeral ... for a million bucks." Doesn't she sound jealous saying that, like she wishes it was her?
However, Sterns lawyers quickly attacked claiming that Arthur in fact received money from Splash News Agency.
Update: Stern just said in court that he has no income of his own and that he is "borrowing money" to support himself. He also told the court that 'ET' flew him to the Bahamas from Florida on a private jet so they can get the first interview of him after ANS' death.

As we mentioned earlier this morning, Howard K. Stern is in court today to determine where Anna Nicole Smith should be buried. Stern said that he and Anna were "more than friends" two years ago but kepttheir relationship low pro. "She was my best friend, lover, the mother of my daughter – literally everything to me." blah blah blah...like we believe you!
He also told the judge that Anna Nicole was obsessed with her own death. "She talked of death really from the time that I met her.”
He continued: "Anna in a lot of ways thought she was going to die young and thought she was going to be like Marilyn Monroe. She [also] thought she was going to die giving birth to Dannielynn."
"She died emotionally when Daniel died,” Stern said. “She had real problems accepting Daniel was gone. She had people open the casket and she was just inconsolable and was hugging him and wanted to go down with him.” He said, "For the most part, Anna didn't leave her room [when Daniel died]."

The heat is on between Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead in the courtroom today. Both men who claim to be baby daddy of Dannielynnare are battling it out in the courtroom in Florida right now to determine what will happen to Smith's body.
Howard K. Stern came into the courtroom and sat just a few feet away from Larry Birkhead. Smith's opportunist mother Virgie Arthur is in the courtroom as well, and warmly embraced Birkhead before the beginning of the hearing. Anna Nicole's father Don Hogan also made a surprise appearance in court.
Judge Seidlin addressed Stern and Birkhead and said, "I expected both of you to show."
Judge Seidlin has just asked Howard K. Stern to write Dannielynn's name on the board under the word "daughter," the reason for which was not entirely clear. Stern took a marker, strode across the room somberly, and wrote the name on a sheet of white paper on the easel.
"Why are we spending so much time here?" asked the judge. "We're here to save one child."

I should have seen this one coming. Another potential baby daddy has just emerged, and this ones in prison! Mark "Hollywood" Hatten, a man convicted of making terrorist threats against Anna Nicole Smith has sent a letter to Harvey Levin claiming he might be the baby daddy.
Mark "Hollywood" Hatten claims he "willfully gave a sperm sample to then girlfriend Anna Nicole Smith, which she gave to a doctor for future use." He then writes, "I allege that I could be the father of Dannielynn by means of artificial insemination (sic)."
In the letter, Hatten claims that after he gave Anna the sperm sample, she said, "Congratulations Mr. Hollywood, you just made a deposit (sic) in the Anna Nicole sperm bank."
Hatten adds, "I am formerly (sic) requesting to compare my DNA to both Anna Nicole and the infant child Dannielynn."

This is really turning into a crazy ass soap opera. Today a judge ruled that an expert that’s working for Larry Birkhead will be allowed to review DNA samples taken from the body to make sure no funny business (such as switching of DNA) occurs.
During the hearing, Joshua Perper, the medical examiner mentioned several times that he has saved enough samples for the death investigation and to prove eventual paternity. "There is absolutely no justification for additional tests," he said. But Birkhead’s attorney’s aren’t having any of that. They say that they fear a "bait-and-switch" of DNA samples that might work against Birkhead.

Anna Nicole Smith's body is to be released soon according to TMZ. A Florida hearing is underway to determine details for the release of the body.
"A California judge withdrew his request to put a 10-day hold on Smith's remains, meaning her body may be released and buried, pending a corresponding ruling from a Florida court. A decision is expected shortly."
Wonder who the body will be released to? Will Birkhead get his paternity test? This is turning into a soap opera.

Howard K. Stern is not allowed to take Dannielynn outside of the Bahamas. Anna’s mother Virgie Arthur plead to the judge for an injuction preventing Stern from taking Dannielynn away from the island.
According to the NYDN, Anna’s mother blames the death of Daniel and Anna on Howard. You and the rest of the world honey! "There's two common denominators in the deaths of her daughter and her grandchild – drugs and Howard K. Stern," said David Lee, a friend of the family.

Like we didn’t see this one coming! Lover #5 has just stepped up to the plate and is speaking to Extra about his love affair with Anna Nicole Smith. Who wasn’t she sleeping with? I’m about to come out and say I’m the baby daddy!
Alex Denk, the bodyguard of Anna Nicole claims that there is a chance that he might be the baby daddy and that a secret medical condition might have just killed Anna Nicole Smith.
“She told me everything,” Denk told Extra. “She told me things no one else knows.” Denk claims he and Anna had a passionate love affair that lasted for two years. “She was wonderful,” he insisted. “A very sensitive and emotional woman. A very good kisser, I must say.”
Alex also claims that he knew that Anna was in trouble the last time he spoke to her two weeks ago and the conversation they had that now haunts him. “She was sick of being called names,” he said. “Everyone was bashing on her and calling her names and putting her down and suing her.”
Denk also claims that Anna Nicole suffered from life threatening seizures, for which she was on medication and that might have caused her death. He also says that he does not believe drugs were to blame for Anna Nicole’s death. “My opinion, I don’t think so,” he told us. “I think she was exhausted.”
When asked who might be the baby daddy, Denk responded: “She always told me she wanted to have her kids with me.” So is there a possibility Denk is Dannielynn’s father? “There’s always a possibility,” he insisted.
