Conan Fans Protest Online

Conan O'Brien fans have taken their discontentment to the internet. Fans of the talk show host have been left outraged over the possibility of O’Brien getting bumped because of Jay Leno—and they’re taking their case viral.

Thousands of fans have now gone online to show their support for Conan, who is not interested in moving his time slot for Leno. An LA-based artist has even sketched a portrait of the late-night host with the phrase “I’m With Coco,” which is one of his nicknames.

Facebook groups have also been organized, as well as Teamconanobrien joining Twitter. The group is trying to get one million members before Friday to get their voices heard.

Conan hasn’t lost his sense of humor throughout this debocle—he told his audience last night, "Hosting The Tonight Show has been the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for me – and I just want to say to the kids out there watching: You can do anything you want in life. Unless Jay Leno wants to do it, too."

O'Brien also addressed his fans, saying, "I'm getting a lot of support out there, especially from an online group calling themselves 'Team Conan.' It's very exciting – it's the first time in my life I've been on a team where I wasn't picked last."

And perhaps his biggest fan is President Barack Obama. He's with Coco too! Check out what Obama had to say about Conan below! Are you on Team Conan or Team NBC?
