An insider told the Popeater.com, “Charlie has become too big a risk to not have a backup plan in case he has another incident and forces production to be shut down."
Too big a risk is right. After his recent meltdown, CBS stock dropped about 7 percent, and CBS had to charge their advertisers an additional $50,000 to make up for it.
I think when Charlie Sheen’s addictions have a bigger impact on the economy than the recession, that makes a huge statement about the country we live in. And that statement is, we love our f-cking television! Hell yeah! U-S-A!!
Now the question is, can a hit show still survive without the celebrity who plays the very character that’s based on him? Focus groups are saying, yes.
"Would the show take a big hit? Yes, but if they found the right person to replace him it would survive and maybe even grow,” says an insider.

Rihanna, who is currently single, has reportedly been sexting infamous bad boy Colin Farrell.
The two met on British TV host Graham Norton's show shortly before Christmas and have been in touch ever since.
An insider told The Sun: "Colin was taken aback by some of the texts. He thinks he might well be in there. They're both single, so why not?"
They have yet to meet up, but we all know this won’t end well.

The once wild actor surprised us last year when he became a father for the second time to baby boy Henry, and we thought he was finally settling down.
But according to Star magazine, Colin decided to break it off because he “didn’t want to be tied down to anyone.”
A source close to the couple reveals, “She realised that Colin is never going to marry her. He cares for Alicja and the baby but he wants to be a free spirit.” The couple started dating after they met while filming the movie “Ondine” in 2008. Colin and Alicja Henry in October 2009.
Colin didn’t seem to waste too much time crying over the break-up—he was already spotted partying in New York with British supermodel Agyness Deyn.
Boys will be boys! And Colin Farrell doesn’t seem like the type who will ever be tied down to one woman.

The movie is about three friends who conspire to murder their awful bosses when they realize they are standing in the way of their happiness.

The role she will take on in this movie is definitely different than any other character we’ve ever seen her in. She is going to be playing a sex-obsessed dentist.

The actor spoke recently at an event for the charity BeLonG To, an Irish LGBT organization for teens struggling with discrimination. He said, "I can't remember much about the years of physical and emotional abuse my brother, Eamon, suffered.
"The thing I do remember though, quite literally, is blood on his school shirt when he came home in the afternoon. The beatings and taunting were very frequent for him and a constant part of his school years.”
"Intolerance is not genetically encoded—it is taught. It is learned at home. It is learned in the classrooms and it is learned anywhere else we gather as a group," he continued. "Bullying is torture, it is another betrayal of basic human decency and its scars reach into the future of its survivors."
Wow, good for Colin! He’s changed so much in recent years, and is finally acting like an adult! We hope he continues to raise awareness about this important charity.

Colin says he’s more appreciative of success as an actor since becoming more responsible. “It’s put more focus on my career,” he said.
“I’m a lot more appreciative over what I have. For years I was adamantly trying to show that I wasn’t worthy or that I didn’t know why it happened to me. I enjoy it a lot more now.”
Colin says he simply tired of partying one day, and decided to stop cold turkey. “I just wanted to stop,” he said. “I was done with it, I was tired of it, I wanted to get off the treadmill.”
Farrell does, however, want people to know that he’s always been responsible when it comes to work—and that the partying always happened after the cameras stopped rolling. The work I always took serious — I probably would have been embarrassed by how serious I took it. Everything else, the behavior around the work, was a guy having a good time and probably trying to apologize for his success,” he added.
We’re pretty sure we’ve heard the stories about his drinking and smoking on set, but we’ll let it go because he’s sober now!

The Associated Press reports that Bachleda gave birth to a boy named Henry on October 7th.
His full name is Henry Tadeusz Farrell. Colin and Alicja met while filming Onedine.
This is the second boy for Colin, who also has a 6-year-old son, James Padraig Farrell, with model Kim Bordenave.
Back in September, Colin told People, “Yeah, I’m going to be a father again. I’m very excited man! Very! There is nothing more exciting really. I will take it as it comes. Even changing dirty diapers.”
Sounds like he’s got this one in the bag! Congrats to the happy family!
