Yay! The Republican National Convention finally got a real celebrity endorser... Unfortunately that endorser appears to be clinically insane.
Stealing the show at Thursday’s closing night of the GOP’s big event, the Unforgiven actor made his speech as a special guest. His appearance has fans rejoicing and critics scratching their heads.
Clint Eastwood stepped onto the stage to the surprised cheers of the red, white, and blue crowd. A massive, LCD screen showed an iconic picture of Clint as Blondie from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly on the backdrop.
“Save a little for Mitt,” he said, assuring the crowd that not all Hollywood types are Democrats.
The craziness started when Clint decided to interview President Barack Obama… Only Obama was invisible… And not there…
Instead, the actor resorted to talking to an empty chair. But that didn’t stop Clint from asking the tough questions, or from Obama answering back in the actor’s voice… It was all a little weird.
"So, Mr. President, how do you handle promises that you made … I'm not going to shut up, it's my turn," said Clint.
Yes, it truly seems that “Mrs. Eastwood and Company” may have finally driven the 82-year-old actor insane…
With no other option, the crowd cheered and laughed. Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Romney watched on somewhat terrified at what was playing out on stage. Ann Romney later described the speech as a “unique thing.”
He continued, "What do you want me to tell Romney? I can't tell him to do that. He can't do that to himself. You're getting as bad as Biden!"
Odd? Yes… But, according to Obama’s Twitter account, the message struck a nerve.

But, despite how awesome/weird/incomprehensible the Republican Nation Convention turned out to be, it didn’t draw enough viewers in order to beat the newest hit series that is plaguing cable television: TLC’s “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”
The Wednesday airing of the reality show beat out the RNC’s ratings, serving as further proof that not matter who we choose in November – Obama or Romney – our nation is doomed…
