Clay Aiken has been under the radar for a while. At least, until recently, when he began starring in Celebrity Apprentice with a noticeably much more chiseled jaw line.
And after a lot of speculation, the pop star has admitted to going under the knife to have some work done. Aiken revealed his procedure to Andy Cohen, the host of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, telling him he had the fat sucked out of his chin. His words, not mine.
“Have you ever had any plastic surgery?” Andy asked, as if he didn’t already know. I mean, he works with all the women on the Real Housewives.
"I had a surgery on my jaw for a TMJ [Temporomandibular Joint Disorder] thing, and I had them suck the fat out of my chin while they were in there," Clay admitted to Andy. “I said, 'You know what, while I'm already down, go ahead and take the vacuum in there and suck the fat out of my chin!'" he added.
I like how he basically took the tools from the surgeon and did it himself. And while Clay was on an honesty streak, he was then asked which pop star today wouldn’t make it past the first round of ‘American Idol.’ To jog your ‘Idol’ memory, Clay appeared on the show in Season 2, and came in a close second to Ruben Studdard.
“There’s too many, I’ve stopped listening to them because they can’t sing,” Aiken said. But finally, he answered, “Rihanna,” citing her “pitch problems.”
