The new cast of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ has just been revealed, and as you’re reading these names, just remember: this is why Donald Trump didn’t run for President. So he could make sure the people get what they really want: celebrity drama.

"I just think we have a major group of celebrities, and we have a very iconic group," says Donald Trump. "This is the best cast we've ever had, the biggest cast, and it's going to be special."

Last week Clay Aiken thought it would be a good idea to attack American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert by calling his music and voice, "Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening."

Not surprisingly, Clay got a lot of heat for his comments, so he ended up apologizing for them.

On Thursday night during an episode of Access Hollywood, Adam finally addressed Aiken's comments, and boy did he have a great comment about the situation!

"I don't know Clay," Lambert told Access Thursday. "I'm glad he's getting headlines now though, because he wasn't before."

"If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him," Lambert added by giving Aiken a thumbs-up sign.

After we read Clay's comments, we all knew he was just trying to get some press and ride on Adam's coattails. He should stick to trying to make some music rather than get press for attacking others.
Don't MISS out on Breaking News!
Clay Aiken realized that he screwed by talking smack about Adam Lambert so he posted a blog on his fansite retracting some of the comments he made about Lambert's voice. But Clay is probably just trying to get attention by riding on Adam's coat tails because he knows he has a long career ahead of him.

Read the blog below:

Aiken writes: "I'll be the first to admit that my opinion is just that, only my opinion, but for as much as some of the bloggers seem to dislike me and care so little about my thoughts, they sure can waste a lot of their space on what I say! If only many of them took the time to pay attention to important things like the US economy and the welfare of the world's children. But… nah… I could blog about that type of stuff anytime and most wouldn't think twice, but let me say something that they can pick and choose quotes and misinterpret me… and it's showtime! I never assumed my opinion mattered so much! I guess I may have been wrong."

"That said, since my previous blog got dissected like a biology lab frog, i suppose I should clarify and even retract some of what I wrote. I am sure that some were upset by my choice of words describing my opinion of a performance I heard from Adam Lambert. I hope no one actually believed that blood truly poured forth from my ears when I heard him. I obviously meant it as a colorful statement to imply that I did not enjoy what I heard. Any performer hopes that their music will appeal to all people, but no singer realistically expects it to. God knows, I am SURE there are PLENTY of people who can't stand to hear me sing either. I wouldn't dream of assuming that, and I am sure that far worse things have been said about my performances than I would even venture to type here. To me, that's fine. I don't expect unanimous, nor even majority support for my music. But, my guess is Adam doesn't either. I would not venture to make judgements [sic] on the personality or demeanor of anyone I don't know, so none of what I said in my previous blog was directed as a 'slam' on Adam as a person. At the same time, I wouldn't dream of slamming him as an entertainer. He does what he does, because he enjoys it, and he obviously has many fans who enjoy it as well. If what I said in my previous blog regarding my impression of a single performance from Adam upset or offended any of his fans, I expect that the mature ones will realize that it was simply a poorly worded metaphor describing my personal tastes. The only person I would really dream of apologizing to is Adam. And the irony is, if he's smart he couldn't give a crap what I think of his 'Ring of Fire' performance. As an entertainer, Adam knows that one person's opinion of one performance really matters a little less than zero, in the grand scheme of things. He could not have gotten on Idol (nor made it as far as he did) without an immense amount of talent. He surely doesn't need my approval to know he has a gift. At the same time, he realizes that amazing talent doesn't always equal universal appeal. (I could NEVER have the amount of skill and talent that ballet dancers have! that's talent! But, I don't particularly enjoy it!) I am sure that I will have plenty of opportunities in the coming years to hear Adam sing. I imagine he'll be around for years to come. But in the meantime, I definitely don't want to stoop to the level of so many negative freaks on the internet… so, I do apologize to Adam for my colorful (and negative) choice of words. I hope he can forgive me. I imagine he doesn't give a d---! God knows he shouldn't."

Who do you think has a bigger and better career ahead of them? Clay or Adam?

There’s at least one person in the world who’s not singing Adam Lambert’s praises, and that’s former Idol contestant Clay Aiken.

He’s got his panties all in a bunch over Adam, and wrote on his website to tell his fans how he really feels. Clay wrote in the rant:

"I only turn the show on once a season, and only to see what the set looks like each year. This year, I happened to turn it during the minute that Adam Lambert was singing 'Ring of Fire' and, at that moment, thought my ears would bleed. Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening! I wasn't really a fan and found myself surprised whenever folks told me that they liked him."

He went on to say that American Idol has changed since he’s been a contestant, and that the judges definitely showed favoritism towards Adam. Clay wrote:

“In my opinion, it all often comes down to that last night of voting. Until the finale, folks are voting for the contestant that they want to see continue.

But, I believe that on that last night, the dynamic changes. No longer forced to choose one person that they want to see win, the audience can effectively vote AGAINST the person that they don't want to see win. Somewhere along the way, AI stopped being about real people.”

Is this Clay’s way of letting Adam know he has a crush on him? Because he sure is acting like a teenage schoolgirl right now! It sounds like Clay cares more than Adam and Kris combined! Neither contestant seemed like they cared who won. It’s what happens after the show ends that’s the fun part!

Kris Allen may have been crowned the winner last night, but Carrie Underwood is still in first place when it comes to paychecks.

According to a new study conducted by Forbes, Carrie is the top American Idol earner of 2009. She’s earned $14 million in the last year alone!

Since her Idol victory in 2005, Carrie’s played over 300 concerts, released two albums, and sold a total of 9.6 million copies and 10.7 million downloads. And on top of that, she’s won her fair share of awards in the country music genre, including Entertainer of the Year at the ACMs.

Coming in second place is Jennifer Hudson, who has done quite well for herself, without even having won Idol! She banked $5 million in the past year, and is just getting back on her feet with a new album after the untimely death of three of her family members.

Original Idol winner Kelly Clarkson is still bringing in the big bucks. She comes in at number three on the list, having made $4.2 million in the past year. Her latest single “All I Ever Wanted” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard earlier this year.

Wonder if Kris Allen will make the top ten next year! Last year’s winner David Cook sure did! He’s made $2 million since winning season 7.

Here are the Forbes’ top ten Idol winners:

1. Carrie Underwood - $14 million
2. Jennifer Hudson - $5 million
3. Kelly Clarkson – $4.2 million
4. Jordin Sparks - $3.1 million
5. Kellie Pickler - $2.3 million
6. Clay Aiken - $2.2 million
7. Chris Daughtry - $2 million
8. David Cook - $2 million
9. David Archuleta - $1.3 million
10. Taylor Hicks - $300,000

Clay Aiken knows how to belt out a tune. But how is his knowledge in the world of modeling? We’ll find out soon, as he’s just announced he’ll be guest judging an episode of America's Next Top Model this season.

A rep from the CW confirmed Clay will join the judges table on the April 8th episode, and he’ll be using some of his own talents to help the models!

Clay’s job is to work with the contestants in an acting challenge. He will then take his place at the judges’ table at the end of the episode when one contestant will be sent home. Well this makes us feel better about the choice! We can actually see Clay doing a good job at this!

Also joining the judges table this season is Ciara. No word on her role yet, but we do know she’ll be paying the models a visit during one of their photo shoots. Top Model comes back February 25th! Whoohoo!
Oh oh the Claymates aren't going to be happy about this one. According to sources at Star magazine, Clay Aiken is dating Broadway dancer Reed Kelly.

Just last month alone, the American Idol alum showed up to Rosie’s Gala at the Marriott Marquis in New York City with Reed, and again at Rosie O'Donnell's Building Dreams for Kids gala, which sparked rumors of a hookup. "It was obvious they were a couple," a partygoers says.

"Everybody knows Reed as Clay's guy," a Broadway insider says told Star of the Wicked ensemble member. "Clay met him when he was doing Spamalot in early 2008, and that's one of the reasons he came back to the show again."

Reed's myspace profile still says he's single, which probably won't sit well with Clay. We contacted Reed for comment, but have yet to hear back. Don't worry Claymates, we're on top of this one!

Would you believe that People magazine actually paid $500,000 for the rights to publish the first pictures of singer Clay Aiken and his son Parker?

Those editors must have thought they scored a major gossip scoop when they revealed the worst kept secret in Hollywood...that Clay Aiken is gay.

It turns out that OK! magazine was originally in negotiations for the very same article, but eventually backed down.

"We did bid on the Clay story but thought it was just all right, not phenomenal. We were in the running, but then Kent Brownridge (editorial director) passed," a source for the magazine said. It was probably a smart call on their part.

It’s official, Clay Aiken is gay. While many Claymates are upset about his recent confession, there are still a lot of Clay fans that are applauding him for coming out.

Hollyscoop caught up with 'Danity Kane' star Aubrey O’Day at the Declare Yourself Domino Effect bash in Hollywood to get her reaction about the People magazine cover.

Aubrey told Hollyscoop: "I adore all Gay Men and Gay Women." In regards to gay marriages, she added, "I am all for it, I am in support of anything gay."

You and us both Aubrey!
Clay Aiken has finally come out to confirm the worst kept secret in Hollywood – that he is in fact gay.

"It was the first decision I made as a father. I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn't raised that way, and I'm not going to raise a child to do that.,” he told People magazine.

Clay and his platonic friend Jaymes Foster became parents via in-vitro fertilization just last month. Clay, 29, went on to say that his new son Parker will be raised in a home that is "accepting and allowing him to be happy."

So how did his mother handle the big news? "She started crying. She was obviously somewhat stunned. But she was very supportive and very comforting." Even now, Aiken admits, "She still struggles with things quite a bit, but she's come a long way."

What are your thoughts on Clay coming out? Are you shocked by the news?
