Last week, rumors surfaced that Claudia Schiffer’s husband, Matthew Vaughn, was the father of January Jones’ baby. Vaughn is directing the upcoming X-Men flick Jones stars in.
Claudia Schiffer has been looking frail and depressed lately, but then again, she’s a supermodel.
Vaughn told reporters the claim was a “complete lie”. Now, Schiffer’s spokesperson is denying the story as well, calling it “complete nonsense.”
Sources told E! News that Vaughn and Jones had developed a “very close relationship” while shooting. Thinking about it, we should’ve figured this story wasn’t true from the beginning, because I can’t imagine January Jones developing a close relationship with anything. Doing that usually involves human emotion.
At this point, I think we should start a January Jones Baby Daddy pool. My money’s on Arnold Schwarzenegger.
A friend of the couple said,
“I think there are a number of names in the frame, but Matthew is not one of them. People are just saying his marriage is in trouble to lend credence to the claims.”
Vaughn and Schiffer have been married for nine years and have three children together. Rumors started surfacing when Vaughn failed to appear to the X-Men premiere and the couple moved out of their home when Jones announced her pregnancy.
