You can run, but you can't hide! The man who allegedly tried to extort money from Cindy Crawford has turned himself in to authorities.

Edis Kayalar, who tried to extort $100,000 from Cindy Crawford in exchange for a photo of her then-7-year-old daughter tied to a chair in revealing clothing, has turned himself in to police in his native German.

Kalayar went to a Stuttgart police station on Monday and turned himself in. He was charged with one count of extortion.

Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber are the latest celebrities to fall victim to an extortion plot.

The couple’s former nanny allegedly took a photo of their 7-year-old daughter Kaia bound and gagged to a chair and passed the photo onto to suspect Edis Kayalar.

Kayalar attempted to extort $100,000 from the couple and repeatedly threatened to sell or release the photograph to the media if they failed to pay.
